La Guacha is a Chilean band that fuses elements of Latin American music with jazz, funk, and pop. The band is lead by singer, songwriter and author Soledad del RÌo, guitarist and composer Juan Pablo Escares, bassist Alexis Bugueño and drummer and percussionist Rodrigo Mora.
La Guacha came around in late 2007, but its rapid development took a little time in order to be amongst the most promising band of the Chilean music scene. They are characterized by their originality and freshness and, above all, by the vibrant energy of their shows and the interpretive quality of their vocalist and musicians which make their concerts a high-end performance.

Los Cuatro Cuartos
Los Cuatro Cuartos are a vocal group that was formed in 1962 in order to give a different character to the Chilean music from that era, remembering that during those years the only music that was widespread throughout Chile was music from the central region of the country such as cuecas and tonada performed by traditional Chilean artists and accompanied by traditional instruments such as the guitar, the tambourine, the harp, etc.
Los Cuatro Cuartos were well known by early 1963 for their vocal harmonies using onomatopoeia that were unknown to those years providing vocal rhythms to songs and replacing them with percussion instruments. This new mode of singing broke all schemes of Chilean music rhythms in addition to integrating the repertoire as rich as refalosas, cachimbos, trotes and others, compasses not widespread at that point.
I had the plasure to work with Los Cuatro Cuartos as a: Audio Engineer for "Los Cuatro Cuartos - 50 Años" (2014)
